Little Miss Sunshine ’Superfreak

This is a short clip of the movie 'Little Miss Sunshine' that we watched in Digital arts class this morning. The movie was directed by the married couple Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris and was released in 2006. And as usual I find everything I watch boring in the beginning until I get a few loughs out of it or stop watching. The story as I understand it is about dysfunctional family members being in the same room embarrassed and confused by their granddaughter's behaviour on stage. The girl does not fit in with the rest of the girls her age in the beauty pageant, so she uses this opportunity to do something weird to bring her family together. The father 'I think' is encouraged at first to dance along with her and everybody else join in. Steve Carell is the only actor I recognised in this piece.
