Project development

I found pixelart to be difficult to work with because the pictures always look different than I initially want them to be.  Sidney Nolan, an Australian artist had an interesting way of dealing with the proportions in his paintings. He used a pair of binoculars to help him see the drawings from far as he made them. The way he did it was to look at the paintings through the front side of binoculars to make it look smaller, that saved him time to walk towards and away from the painting all the time to see it from distance every time he wanted to.

To practice I have drawn in my sketchbook a series if small imaginary game characters with different expressions and my target is use them as practice for pixelart.

And now I will try to transfer them into a digital medium (pixelart).
