Initial Idea and feed back
Wood photos + portraits + photoshop & illustrator = woodlook, I presented this Idea to Zoe Van De Valde last week and she signed it of. basically I am going to create a gallery of digital art made with photoshop and photography. I was inspired by the artist Laurence Demaison. This artist takes black and white photography and makes magic with it, using different effects such as water or smoke

I will capture portraits of different people with different poses and add onto them edited pictures of wood in various tones of colour and hopefully with some Photoshop wizardry I will get wood sculpture characters. The gallery will be at least six to ten pieces and it will be on my website, and what I want to achieve here is:

• to create a beautiful thematic gallery of art for the major project 
• to develop basic understanding and application of photography and Photoshop
• Research three different artists that has inspired this me for this work
• to prepare a presentation of my work and present it at the end of the term

Zoe signed of my project last week and I am ready to start working on it.

Outcomes and plan for project
Because I lack it, Zoe set me up with Photoshop workshop on Friday 3rd May and photography session on 8th May.
