I love staring at this image. Though they are imaginary, those kind of scenes give me comfort during the most uncertain time about our uncertain future. For a long time we have been building our houses only to keep us worm and safe, with little regard to our mother home 'earth'. With modern architecture and technology we have created the tallest buildings ever built to use the space more efficiently. However, we need to integrate our design with nature for many good reasons. I think if we create our facilities in harmony with the environment, that is to say we use what we already have to our advantage rather than breaking and digging, so we could save a lot of energy and time. For example, we could use large trees as building posts instead of wasting machinery power to dig and create new concrete posts. With solar and wind power it is possible to create more Eco-friendly facilities.

For my project I am going to try to create a gallery to visit a beautiful hopeful future, where buildings have been incorporated with nature. A future where overpopulation is no longer a problem because we use spaces such as forests and under water. And build floating houses in the air. The gallery will contain 2D paintings that depict these facilities in their environments. As well as a 3D model of a future house.

Interesting idea, looking forward to seeing the development of your paintings - remember to find artists that have done similar things, either digitally or with traditional media. You can look at the polar opposite of your idea too like Paul Chadeisson's work regarding Paris and New York - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2713292/Could-Paris-New-York-2084-Artist-reveals-sinister-industrialised-vision-cities-future.html Something similar to your ideas about fusing nature and man would be the Singapore Supertrees, https://grant-associates.uk.com/projects/supertrees-gardens-by-the-bay
