Art Portfolio Two - Project Plan

I have tried to work with VennGage online software to generate my project plan. I signed myself in and looked at different interesting templates. Then I picked few and tried to modify them by adding more sections necessary for the 10 week project plan. I failed to grasp how it works and I became quickly overwhelmed by it. Learning new software quickly is not one of my strong suits and because I do not have time to learn about it, I have consulted Mrs. Mansfield if I could use Word instead to make my plan. Thankfully she suggested that I just make a timeline blog.

Project Plan:

Week 4:   Research relevant artists and how their work would inspire and relate to my work

Week 5:   Develop the idea and think about: the materials to use, the context, the scale and the location

Week 6:   Start drawing sketches and make elevations for the sculpture
Buy and collect the materials needed for the project

Week 7:   Finish the elevations and start creation of the sculpture

Week 8:   Creation of the sculpture

Week 9:   Make the gallery on the website, write reflection

Week 10: Submission

  1. As you develop your project, I would recommend that you give more detail to this plan to really give yourself tasks to finish to your own deadlines - once you have the design, you will know what materials you will need for instance, and what you will nee to construct, so you can add detail there.
