Art Portfolio Two - Reflection

Failures:
No mistake in life is without a purpose and I hope to learn from my mistakes to make more mistakes to learn from. I have made a plan at the beginning of the project but I failed to predict how much time I would need for each planned part. This has taught me that my planning can be short sided and therefore it should be enhanced by taking more time to make future plans, to conciser all possibilities. Furthermore, researching resin and making few experiments and preparations before creating the final sculpture was not as fruitful as I anticipated, and this experience has taught me that a good research is vital for the perfection of art.
Difficulties:
I have a medical problem with my hands that slowed down the progress of the project significantly. Especially that I need my hands to operate the computer and make the artwork. This has taught me to be more resilient in my work and to have patience with it. Additionally, I found it difficult to operate online planning software (VennGauge).
Successes:
Through this project, I have learned to express my point of view through creative art in a contextual manner. I explored new mediums for art such as resin and learned using new design software called SketchUp. The wooden sculpture was the best outcome of the entire sculpture and I really enjoyed making experiments and researching about political art.
